Telegram signal copier for MT4 and MT5
A Telegram signal is only useful if it reaches your account before the price moves. CopyTraderTool reads channels from our catalog with its own service account, recognises the signal automatically, sizes it for your balance and places it on your MT4 or MT5 accounts. It then follows the channel's edits and replies, such as "close half" or "move SL to BE", on the trades that signal opened.

How Telegram signal copying works
- The channel posts a signal. Our service account, which is subscribed to every catalog channel, receives it within moments.
- Automatic recognition extracts symbol, direction, entry or entry zone, stop loss and take-profits. Messages that are not signals ("Good morning traders", "+350 pips today") are ignored.
- Each follower's copier applies its own settings: maximum signal age, filters, lot size from risk percent or a fixed lot, take-profit handling.
- Orders are sent to the follower's MT4/MT5 accounts. The trades stay linked to the original message.
- Later edits and replies are matched to that message and applied to the linked trades.
Because a service account reads the channel, you don't share your Telegram login with anyone, and nothing needs to run on your phone or computer.
Signal formats that are recognised
The common formats work out of the box, in English and Russian, with emoji or without:
| Post | What is placed |
|---|---|
XAUUSD BUY NOW 2350-2355 SL 2340 TP1 2360 TP2 2370 | Market buy (zone midpoint as reference), SL 2340, two TPs |
GOLD SELL @ 2410.5 / sl 2420 / tp 2400, 2390 | Market sell, SL 2420, two TPs |
EURUSD buy limit 1.0820 SL 1.0790 TP 1.0880 | Buy limit pending order at 1.0820 |
ЗОЛОТО ПРОДАЖА 2405 СЛ 2415 ТП 2395 | Gold sell: Russian instrument and keyword names |
For partner channels with an unusual layout we also configure a per-channel template, so the recognition does not depend on guessing. Signals posted as chart screenshots are read as well, with the caption used to confirm the prices.
Several take-profits
Most channels give two or three targets. Each copier chooses how to handle them:
- Each TP as its own trade. The volume is split; the first part closes at TP1, the next at TP2. This is the usual choice when the channel later says "move SL to BE after TP1".
- First TP only. One trade with the nearest target.
- Average TP. One trade with the average of the targets.
Edits and replies
Signal channels manage trades in follow-up messages. These are applied to the trades opened from the original signal, whether they arrive as a reply or as a new message about the same symbol:
| Follow-up | Action on your trades |
|---|---|
close / close all | Close the linked trades |
close half / close 50% | Partial close of the linked volume |
move SL to BE / breakeven | Stop moved to entry |
sl 2345 / tp 2360 | New stop or target set |
| Edited original with a new SL or TP | Linked trades modified to match |
An edit never re-opens or re-sizes a trade. Edits that only fix a typo or add an emoji change nothing. Read the full walkthrough in how Telegram signal copying works.
Sizing signals that never mention lots
Channels rarely say how big a trade is, and their idea of size has nothing to do with your balance. Risk percent sizes each trade so hitting the signal's stop loses the chosen share of your balance. Example: 1% of $10,000 with the GBPJPY stop 60 pips away (about $6.70 per pip per lot) gives 0.25 lots, sent as 0.12 + 0.12 over two targets after rounding down to the lot step. Turn on "skip signals without SL" so a post with no stop never opens an unsized position.
Set a maximum signal age, too. If Telegram or the channel is slow and the post reaches the copier after that many seconds, it is skipped and logged instead of being filled at a price that has already moved. Check sizes with the lot size calculator.
Telegram signal copier: questions
Can I copy any Telegram channel I'm subscribed to?
You can copy channels in our catalog. Our own service account reads them, so you never connect your personal Telegram. If you follow a channel that isn't listed, tell us which; channel owners can apply on the become a provider page.
What if the channel posts the signal as a picture?
A chart image with no text is ignored. The symbol, direction and levels need to be in the message text or its caption for the signal to be recognised.
What happens if the channel edits the signal after I'm in?
If the edit changes the SL or TP, your linked trades are modified to match (when the copier copies SL/TP as is). Edits never re-open or re-size a trade, and cosmetic edits change nothing.
Does "close half" close half of my position?
Yes: half of the volume linked to that signal is closed on your account. With one trade per TP, the copier closes the matching share across them.
How fast is it?
Inside our cloud, recognition and order placement take a fraction of a second; Telegram delivery and your broker's execution add their time. Every copied trade's latency is saved in History.
Can I trade the signals in reverse?
Yes, reverse copying turns buys into sells with SL and TP swapped. Most people use it to test whether a channel's entries have any edge at all, on a demo account first.
